Multiple users with GMRS-PRO radios can communicate via text message, send and request GPS locations, use SOS alerts, and more. Even though all radio features can be used without the app, the BTECH Programmer App makes the advanced features of the radio easy to access and utilize from your smart phone.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"Default\">The GMRS Programmer App also allows you to download your trail maps ahead of time so you can access them when you might be out of range of cellular service. With a built-in gyroscope and compass you can see what direction you are headed, what your current elevation is, and your traveling speed. From on-board radio menus you can display your longitude and latitude positions.
