Returns, Warranty, and Refunds Policy

How To Return An ItemItems shipped from and our Amazon storefront can be returned within 30 days of receipt of shipment in most cases.


BaoFeng Tech will process your return and issue a full refund, minus a restocking fee, with no deduction for return shipping after receiving your return of the eligible product(s). If your return is not a result of a BaoFeng Tech error, we will not cover the shipping fees. No minimum purchase is required to receive Free Returns.

Restocking Fee

Items are subject to a minimum 15% restocking fee (unless a shipping error occurred) - additional deductions maybe incurred if the item is not returned in a reasonable condition; this will be deducted from your refund. The customer is responsible for coordinating the returns through an RMA. Any shipping charges are not refunded in the event of a return.


Warranty Repair

All of our products sold through our BaoFeng Tech Amazon Storefront,, or through one of our authorized distributors are eligible for a One Year Limited Warranty. Customers will need to have proof of purchase and submit an RMA through our Product Repair RMA system. After the RMA request is sent, BaoFeng Tech will review and approve the RMA for your warranty request. The customer covers Shipping and delivery to our RMA Center. BaoFeng Tech will cover associated shipping costs to return the product after the repair has been completed. If the product is damaged beyond repair, a recertified maybe used for customer replacement.


If we find the radio or product was tampered, modified, or abused (water damage, undue physical harm, or any other events not found in normal use), a warranty repair may not be available. Only the faulty product or accessory should be sent.
