I bought this in the hope that it would work with my Yaesu FT-65.
No such luck but obviously not BTECH’s fault.
Otherwise it’s a well built cable made of good materials.

PROS
Auto-relay feature is terrific. Frequency separation doesn’t matter! Use your imagination and you can do all manner of things such as: (1) Hang it a drone for a 7W store and forward IN-band repeater. (2) Transmit into this with a “test” radio, auto-relay into another cross band repeater and you, for ONCE can evaluate your “test”radio by yourself; without help from someone else!
IP67? I dropped it in a sink of water, with auto-relay on. It transceived just fine on 1W at least to my front yard. Not sure I’d try to use USB-C until completely dry.
BT binding is very quick.
Drive it largely from cell or keypad.
Cell phone PTT, just like Zello.
Firmware updates appear to be coming at a good pace. End user alpha testing.
CONS
Only 180 channels, 6 zones? C’mon, man. 4000 channels (at least 1000!), 200-256 zones, compete w AnyTone. Use scrolling to select zones, not radio buttons.
Only 8 character channel names? C’mon, man. Scroll channel names on display if the resolution isn’t fine enough.
Why, on Earth, would you design a radio which is not connector compatible with ALL of YOUR OWN other Baofeng radio models, let alone Kenwood and AnyTone!? Stupid that. Sorry.
App software atrocious. Clearly no design reviews or beta testing.
VFOs cannot span zones! Changing zones changes BOTH VFOs to new zone. Terrible design flaw.
Zone capacity fixed at 30; Can’t have more than 30 channels in any zone. Another design flaw.
SUMMARY
Somewhat quirky, but very innovative radio. I can’t wait to see what the next firmware brings.

I own two GMRS PROs and one UV-PRO, what I don’t understand is that the M1 connector won’t work with a Motorola speaker mic. I tried using an aftermarket Motorola style Speaker Mic with both the GMRS PRO and the UV-PRO, but the transmitter sticks with the Motorola speaker mic. I assumed wrong since both radios have the Motorola M1 male connector. Don’t get me wrong, I also the Blue Tooth Speaker Mic and really satisfied with it. However, I like to use traditional Speaker Mic without having to purchase a pigtail K1 connector
