Works GREAT !! Only wish I could buy replacement clip…..retaining clip broke and won’t stay attached to mic….other than that, they function very well !!

Well worth the upgrade! I’ve had several of the cheaper baofeng microphones from eBay and the build/sound quality doesn’t compare to this.
It has a nice, steady feel and decent cord length. The send and receive audio is just as good, if not better than the built in microphone on UV5Rs. Crisp, clear and loud without distortion.
