The FRS-B1 are pre-programmed with all 22 FRS channels and support 260 DCS and CTCSS privacy tones (for a total of 5720 channel combinations), making it compatible with all other brands of FRS walkie talkies. 

Rain or shine you can rely on the BTECH FRS-B1 walkie talkies. They are weather resistant radios and can be used in any weather situations. The FRS-B1 also includes a built-in NOAA receiver so you are able to toggle to hear NOAA forecasts and alerts when needed. Communicating in the dark? The built-in flashlight can be helpful in low light situations.

With multiple carrying options, you can clip your walkie talkie onto your belt with the provided holster or attach to your wrist using the included wrist strap for extra convenience. There are also multiple charging options — using any USB-C cable or the provided docking station.

      Some radio brands would advertise up to 36 miles in an unrealistic hill to valley scenario.

      Realistically – 1-5miles in open flat unobstructed terrain; 1/2 – 1 mile in the city or obstructed terrain.

      A majority of consumer FRS radios are 500mw

    They are license-free or more specifically, “License by Rule”. Just follow a few simple rules and you we fine such as don’t be a representative of a foreign government or use on an aircraft These look simple and fi the point with a freq extras like charger. USB-C, NWS RX.
