Hello BaofengTech. This repeater sounds like a game-changer. Is it programmable, and what frequency range does it cover? Thank you, Steve
It will only operate and transmit on any GMRS repeater pair
What is the power out after the duplexer?
As the duplexer adjusts to the frequency in use it will change up to .5dBm (or between 44-50W)
Total cost of repeater.
$1,499.89
Yes that is correct
Sounds great way ahead of the other brands with the latest greatest technology. Im interested. I’m talking on amateur and gmrs now with my wife and daughter
Just purchased the repeater. Hope to add others within our little club to provide radio service to the entire community.
Will you program the radio? How many frequencies can you program in to it? Can you send me any information on it. I am very interested it purchasing on in the immediate future.
Thank you
Is it safe to assume that this repeater does not require repeater cavaties (for TX and RX), and that it will run right out of the box?
The BTECH GMRS-RPT50 includes a band-pass/band-reject (BpBr) duplexer. This type of duplexer provides excellent isolation and performance for GMRS repeater operations.
Let me know when you have a sale on this repeater
Just got the repeater. If I want to test the power output with my meter, can I use the TX/RX port?
Yes, ensure you have it attached to a proper dummy load
