We are excited to announce the release of the latest firmware updates for our DMR-6X2 Series: Firmware 2.11 for the DMR-6X2 and Firmware 1.11 for the DMR-6X2 PRO. These updates are part of our ongoing commitment to providing long-term product support, enhanced security, and improved functionality—even years after the initial launch.

What’s New in the Firmware Updates?
Our new firmware updates bring a host of enhancements and new features that will elevate your user experience:
1.ARC4 Encryption Added (DMR-6X2): This update introduces ARC4 encryption to the DMR-6X2, providing an added layer of security for digital communications. (Note: This feature is already present in the DMR-6X2 PRO.)
2.GPS Information Display Enhancement: The GPS information display has been refined to offer a more consistent user experience across devices. Users will now enjoy familiar GPS readouts and displays, making navigation simpler and more intuitive.
3.Long Press Key Functionality Update: The ‘Long Press’ function for the Up/Down keys has been updated to mirror the behavior of the D878UV model. This change ensures improved usability and operational consistency for users who are familiar with both models.

suggestion for a new feature : tone scan. I find myself leaving my DMR 6X2 on the shelf a lot because it can’t find ctcss/dcs tones. i’m told the Anytone radios have this feature.
On an ANALOG Channel- MENU>Settings> Channel Set. RCDT set to RCT or DCS>Set a tone or code. Next go to MENU>SCAN>CDT Scan and it should start running.
The new version of software 1.11 for the 6×2 Pro will not open the firmware upgrade function even when run as administrator.
When I click on it nothing happens.
